Note: Orenco Fiberglass Tanks have successfully passed third-party evaluation and testing by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO). The 1000, 1500 and 2000 gallon tanks are listed as Prefabricated Septic Tanks under the IAPMO/ANSI Z1000-2007 standard and as Prefabricated Gravity Grease Interceptors under the IAPMO/ANSI Z1001-2007 standard.


International Approvals

Australia

The AdvanTex Treatment System has been certified by SAI Global to the Australian National Standard: AS/NZS 1546.3:2001. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks have also successfully passed third-party evaluation and testing by SAI Global. The 1000 and 1500 gallon tanks are listed as Septic Tanks under AS/NZS 1546.1:2008.

New South Wales: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2009. AdvanTex is also recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2009.

Queensland: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2009. AdvanTex is also recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2009.

Victoria: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2010. AdvanTex is also recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2009.

Western Australia: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2009.


Canada

Alberta: Provincewide approval has been given to the AdvanTex Treatment System.

British Columbia: British Columbia allows the AdvanTex Treatment System to be designed and installed on a performance-based status.

Manitoba: Provincewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2009.

Nova Scotia: Provincewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2009.

Ontario: Provincewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2008.

Saskatchewan: Provincewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2009.


New Zealand

The AdvanTex Treatment system is approved for use nationwide. AdvanTex has undergone several third-party testing trials in New Zealand. AdvanTex has also been approved as a nitrogen reducing system by Environment Bay of Plenty.


U.S. Approvals State by State

Alabama: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2002.

Alaska: Approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System by the Municipality of Anchorage in 2002. AdvanTex is also recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system.

Arizona: Statewide approval has been granted to the AdvanTex Treatment System. AdvanTex is also
recognized as a nitrogen reducing system.

Arkansas: Statewide approval has been granted to the AdvanTex Treatment System.

California: California does not have a statewide approval process for advanced treatment systems. The AdvanTex Treatment System has received various degrees of approval in the following counties: Calaveras, Humboldt, Lake, Los Angeles, Marin, Mariposa, Mendocino, Nevada, Placer, Riverside, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma, Sutter, Tehama, Tuolumne, and Yuba. AdvanTex has also been recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system in Santa Cruz, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara counties. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks have been granted approval in the following counties: El Dorado, Humboldt, Marin, Nevada, Plumas, Santa Cruz, Butte, Calaveras, Lassen, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, Sutter, Lake, Mendocino, Alameda, Yuba, Santa Clara, Santa Barbara, San Louis Obispo, San Diego, San Benito, Riverside, Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial, Contra Costa, and Amador.

Colorado: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2001. AdvanTex was
recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system in Jefferson County in 2006. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted approval in 2004.

Connecticut: Contact Orenco.

Delaware: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2008. AdvanTex is also recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system.

Florida: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2003. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted approval in 2004.

Georgia: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2003. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2004.

Hawaii: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2003. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2003.

Idaho: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2003. AdvanTex is also recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2004.

Illinois: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2004.

Indiana: AdvanTex is approved as an experimental system. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2005.

Iowa: Statewide approval has been given to the AdvanTex Treatment System.

Kansas: Kansas does not have a statewide advanced treatment system approvals process. AdvanTex is approvable on a county-by-county basis.

Kentucky: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2009.

Louisiana: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2003.

Maine: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2006. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2006.

Maryland: Statewide approval as a nitrogen-reducing system under the Best Available Technology program was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2007.

Massachusetts: Provisional approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2005 based on
its ability to reduce Total Nitrogen. General approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in
2004 based on BOD5 and TSS reduction. Remedial approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment
System in 2003.

Michigan: Michigan does not have a statewide advanced treatment system approvals process. AdvanTex has received various degrees of approval in thirty-two Michigan counties.

Minnesota: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2009.

Mississippi: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2003.

Missouri: Missouri does not have a statewide advanced treatment system approvals process. AdvanTex is approvable on a county-by-county basis.

Montana: Statewide approval has been given to the AdvanTex Treatment System. AdvanTex was also recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system in 2004.

Nebraska: Contact Orenco.

Nevada: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2003 for BOD5 and TSS removal. AdvanTex was recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system in 2008.

New Hampshire: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2001.

New Jersey: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2008 under the Aerobic Systems Guidance Document.

New Mexico: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2001. AdvanTex is also recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system.

New York: New York does not have a statewide advanced treatment system approvals process. The AdvanTex Treatment system has been approved by several counties.

North Carolina: Statewide approval as an innovative system was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2005. AdvanTex is also recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2005.

North Dakota: Contact Orenco.

Ohio: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2002, and this approval was reissued per the new regulations in 2007. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2002.

Oklahoma: Contact Orenco.

Oregon: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2002. AdvanTex was recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system in 2007. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2002.

Pennsylvania: Alternate System approval was given to AdvanTex in 2009. Approval was granted after successfully completing the third-party field verification testing required by PA DEP. AdvanTex is also recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system.

Rhode Island: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2004. AdvanTex is also recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system. Several systems are part of state or EPA demonstration projects. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks meet all Rhode Island requirements and can be installed statewide.

South Carolina: South Carolina does not have a statewide advanced treatment system approvals process. The AdvanTex Treatment system is allowed to be designed and permitted as an engineered system. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2009.

South Dakota: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2008.

Tennessee: Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted approval in 2004.

Texas: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2003. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks meet all Texas requirements and can be installed statewide.

Utah: Approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2003. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2006.

Vermont: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2001. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2004.

Virginia: Provisional Approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2001 and General Approval was granted in 2006. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2003.

Washington: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2002. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2002.

West Virginia: Statewide approval has been given to the AdvanTex Treatment System.

Wisconsin: Statewide approval was given to the AdvanTex Treatment System in 2001. AdvanTex is also recognized as a nitrogen-reducing system. Orenco Fiberglass Tanks were granted statewide approval in 2004.

Wyoming: Wyoming does not have a statewide advanced treatment system approvals process. The AdvanTex Treatment System has been approved by the following counties: Teton, Natrona, and Albany.
